What is Tasbih Fatimah?
A short explanation of the 33·33·34 dhikr sequence, with its primary source.
The three phrases
- SubḥānAllāh. Glory be to Allah. 33 times.
- Alḥamdulillāh. All praise is due to Allah. 33 times.
- Allāhu Akbar. Allah is the Greatest. 34 times.
Total: 100 remembrances.
When it is practised
Most commonly after each of the five daily prayers, and before sleep, based on the widely-known hadith reported in Sahih Muslim.
