Editorial policy

What we publish

• Adhkar attested in the Qur'an or in the widely-accepted Sunni hadith collections (Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, and the four Sunan).
• Only the wording and count that are directly in the cited source.
• Short, literal English translations, edited from widely-published English editions.

What we do not publish

• Interpretive rulings (whether an act is required, recommended, or permissible).
• Content that requires scholarly reconciliation between conflicting narrations.
• Machine-translated religious text.
• Testimonials, endorsements, or claims of scholarly approval that we do not have.

Review status

Every entry in the library shows a review status and a last-reviewed date. Until a qualified reviewer is retained, every entry is labelled "sourced, pending scholarly review."This is deliberate honesty: the words and sources are correct; a formal scholarly review has not yet been performed. When a reviewer is retained, their name and the review date will appear on each reviewed page.

Corrections

If you find a mistake in wording, transliteration, translation, or source, please write to us at hello@sibha.app. Corrections are versioned in our source repository.

Terminology and script

• Transliteration uses a light, readable Latin-script convention with diacritics on long vowels.
• Arabic uses fully-vocalised script in the Amiri typeface.
