What the tasbeeh counter does

A tasbeeh (\u062A\u0633\u0628\u064A\u062D) is the physical string of prayer beads Muslims have used for centuries to keep count of remembrance. The online version does exactly the same thing. You tap once per phrase. The screen keeps the running total, wakes gently at each milestone, and lets you undo a tap if your thumb slipped.

Why an online counter and not physical beads?

Physical beads win in one place: a mosque, on the floor, with no notifications. People type this in many ways. Tasbeeh, tasbih, tasbi, tasbeh, tasbeh, all point to the Arabic \u062A\u0633\u0628\u064A\u062D meaning "glorification". Zikr and dhikr both come from \u0630\u0643\u0631 meaning "remembrance". Sibha and misbaha both come from \u0633\u0628\u062D meaning "to glorify". The counter works for all of them. If you were told to say "SubhanAllah 100 times", this is the tool that keeps count.
