Sibha.app features

Sibha.app is a free browser-based tasbih and dhikr counter. Everything listed here works today, in the browser, with no account.

Do I need to install an app to use Sibha.app?

No. Sibha.app is a website. It opens in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer, and you can start counting straight away without downloading anything from an app store. If you want it on your home screen, your browser can add it there as a web app, but that is optional.

Do I need an account to count dhikr on Sibha.app?

No. There is no sign-up, no login and no email field anywhere on Sibha.app. Open the tasbih counter and tap.

Does Sibha.app remember where I stopped counting?

Yes. Your current count, your target and your settings are saved in your own browser storage on the device you are using, so closing the tab and coming back keeps the number. Nothing is uploaded to a server, which also means clearing your browser data clears your counts, and a count started on your phone does not appear on your laptop.

What counting modes does Sibha.app have?

  • Free count. Tap anywhere to add one, with undo for a mis-tap and a confirmed reset back to zero.
  • Target count. Set any number, such as 33, 100 or 1000, and the counter marks the moment you reach it.
  • Tasbih Fatimah. 33 SubhanAllah, 33 Alhamdulillah and 34 Allahu Akbar, moving to the next phrase automatically when each count is reached.
  • Named adhkar. Every entry in the dhikr library opens its own counter with the Arabic, transliteration, translation and primary source shown.

Does Sibha.app work offline?

Yes, once the page has loaded once on that device. Sibha.app caches itself in the browser, so the counter keeps working on a plane, in a basement or with no signal, and your count continues to be saved locally.

Is Sibha.app private?

Counts, targets and settings never leave your device. Sibha.app has no accounts, no advertising and no personalised analytics, so no one, including us, can see how much dhikr you have made. See the privacy page for the full detail.

What languages does Sibha.app support?

The interface is available in English, Arabic, Urdu and Indonesian, with the layout flipped for right-to-left reading in Arabic and Urdu. Arabic dhikr text is shown in Arabic script everywhere, with transliteration for readers who do not read the script.

What does Sibha.app deliberately not do?

No adverts, no notifications, no streaks or badges, no leaderboards, no cloud sync and no religious rulings. Sourced adhkar are published with their citation, and nothing beyond that is claimed.

Frequently asked questions

Is Sibha.app free?

Yes. Sibha.app is completely free, with no adverts, no paid tier and no locked features.

Does Sibha.app work without installing an app?

Yes. Sibha.app runs in the browser. Nothing is downloaded from an app store, and you can start counting immediately.

Does the counter save my progress?

Yes. The count, target and settings are stored in your browser on that device, so the number is still there when you return. Nothing is sent to a server.

Will my phone vibrate at a milestone?

On Android browsers, yes, if haptics are enabled in settings. iPhones and iPads block browser vibration, so milestones are shown visually instead.

Can I use Sibha.app for counting things other than dhikr?

Yes. The counter is a plain tap counter, so it also works as a tally counter for laps, repetitions or anything else you need to count.
