What are the benefits of saying La ilaha illallah 100 times?
Whoever says la ilaha illa Allah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahu al-mulk wa lahu al-hamd, wa huwa ala kulli shay'in qadir one hundred times a day receives the reward of freeing ten slaves, one hundred good deeds, one hundred sins erased, and protection from Shaytan for that day (Sahih al-Bukhari 3293, Sahih Muslim 2691).

The narration specifies the long form with wahdahu la sharika lah, not the four-word tahlil alone. Both are dhikr, but the reward described attaches to the full wording.
The Prophet ﷺ added that no one brings anything better on the Day of Judgement, except a person who did more.
It is the single densest phrase in the Sunnah by stated reward, and it fits comfortably into a commute.
Say it deliberately. Rushing a hundred in ninety seconds defeats the purpose of the phrase, which is affirming that nothing is worshipped in truth except Allah.
