The Prophet remembered Allah in every state (Sahih Muslim 373). Long drives are perfect for short repeated phrases: subhanallah, alhamdulillah, allahu akbar, la ilaha illa Allah, astaghfirullah.
Do not fiddle with beads while driving. Use finger counting, or a screen-mounted counter with big-tap targets so a glance and a tap keep the count.
