Why does an ad-free app matter for dhikr?

An ad-free app matters because dhikr needs sustained attention, and a typical free app interrupts that every 30 to 60 seconds with a banner or video ad. Sibha carries zero ads on any screen, including the counter, the library, and settings. The whole point of a tasbih is to slow the mind and stay present with Allah, and an interstitial ad works directly against that.

What does "no tracking" mean on Sibha?

No tracking means Sibha collects no personal data and runs no advertising or analytics network that can identify you. Your tap counts, target, and language choice are saved only in your own browser's storage on your device, never on a server. This is the same standard described in full on the privacy page.

How does Sibha stay free with no ads or subscriptions?

Sibha stays free because it runs on genuinely cheap infrastructure and has no paid team to fund, so there is nothing to recoup and nothing to sell you. It is offered as sadaqah jariyah, ongoing charity, with one goal: nothing should sit between a person and a moment of dhikr. If you want to help, share it with one person, report a mistake, or make dua for the family who built it.

How do I install Sibha as an app?

Sibha installs directly from your browser in under 10 seconds, with no App Store or Google Play visit needed. Adding it to your home screen makes it open full-screen and keep working without a signal, using the same "add to home screen" step available in Safari, Chrome, and Edge. Installing is optional; the counter works the same in a plain browser tab.

Frequently asked questions

Is there really no catch?

No catch. No ads, no data sale, no upgrade tier, no premium features locked behind a paywall. If we ever change that, we will say so loudly and give you a way to export your data first.

How do you make money then?

We do not. It is not a business. It is provided free, and the person who built it did so because it needed to exist, not to earn.

Do you send my dhikr counts anywhere?

No. Counts are saved in your browser's local storage. Clear your browser data and they are gone. Nothing is uploaded to any server.

Is there a native app?

There will be. For now, install the web app to your home screen. It behaves the same and updates automatically.

Will Sibha ever add ads later?

There are no plans to. It is built as sadaqah jariyah, not as a business, so there is no growth target that would push it toward ads.

Does the ad-free version have fewer features?

No. There is only one version of Sibha, and it already includes undo, custom targets, Tasbih Fatimah, and offline install.
