Most tasbih counter apps do the same counting. What separates them is what happens around the counting: adverts between your dhikr, an account you did not need, permissions for contacts and location, and analytics on what you recite. This page sets out the criteria worth judging any counter by, including where this one is not the right choice.
First, no adverts. An advert between the 33rd and 34th SubhanAllah is worse than a slightly worse counter. Second, no account, because there is no reason a counter needs your email. Third, offline support, because dhikr happens where signal does not reach. Fourth, a large, readable number so you are not squinting. Fifth, an undo, because a double tap should not cost you a reset. Sixth, honest privacy: your remembrance should not be a data point.
A store app can run in the background and send reminders, which a web page cannot do as reliably. That is the genuine advantage. Against it, a store app usually wants permissions, an account and a review prompt, and it takes storage. A browser counter opens instantly, asks for nothing and can still be added to your home screen so it opens full screen.
If you want scheduled reminders to do your morning and evening adhkar, a browser page is not the tool: use your phone's own alarm or a dedicated app. If you want a physical thing you can use with the phone away, buy a bead string or a ring counter. Being clear about that is more useful than pretending one tool wins everywhere.
