Sahih al-Bukhari 6307 reports more than seventy times. Neither narration is a limit; both describe a habit rather than a ceiling.
It is the master supplication for seeking forgiveness, taught by the Prophet ﷺ and reported in Sahih al-Bukhari 6306. Whoever says it in the morning with certainty and dies that day enters Paradise, and likewise in the evening. It is longer than Astaghfirullah and is said once in the morning and once in the evening rather than a hundred times.
