An online counter is a counting tool you open in a browser instead of buying or installing. This one starts instantly, counts on click, tap or spacebar, and keeps your total on your own device. There is no sign-up and no advertising, so the page you land on is the counter itself rather than a wall of banners.
Open the page, then click, tap or press the spacebar once for each thing you are counting. The number is shown large in the centre. Undo removes a mistaken count, reset returns to zero after a confirmation, and target mode marks the point where you have counted enough.
It is as accurate as your presses. The advantage over paper tallies is that you cannot miscount your own marks, and the advantage over a mechanical counter is undo: a double press costs you one tap to correct rather than an entire recount.
